My Great Web page
Sadly my Mogus Joseph has passed away on February 16, 2009. He was 11 years old. He had a heart murmur that became so severe his heart could not handle it. The veterinarian said it sounded like he had a leaky valve. He is greatly missed and will be having a memorial on here sometime this spring.

Here he is!!
My best friend Best dog ever On January 9th my cat Buckshot, who can be seen on my gallery pages, passed away also. He was 11 years old and just got sick and died. He is also missed and will be having a memorial on here come spring. Well, it is summer now but here he is!!

My other best friend

This site is dedicated to all pets but it is not only for pet memorials.

I do much more now that I have the plotter and there is just so much to do with it. Mostly, I just have fun. Creating with vinyl is great. I create something and if I don't like it I just scrape the vinyl off and make something new.

DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT MY VIDEO PAGE. SEE THE NEW PUPPY USE HIS PET DOOR AT 9 WEEKS OF AGE! AND THE CAT FIGHT!!

You're here!! Great. Welcome to Mo's Memorials. Although my main interest started out to be doing pet memorials it appears people want other rocks too. Take a trip through my gallery pages and check some of them out. I use rocks, slate, granite, marble and even do frosting on glass panes. I wish I could get a decent picture of the glass because they are very nice. But the glare gets me every time. UPDATE!! I do the 8 x 8" square blocks now also and have conquered the glare problem. I frost the front of the glass block and apply my vinyl to that. Check them out on my Work in Progress page. There are also a few on the 2nd page of the gallery of sports teams!!

We are located in northwest Ohio, small town called Hicksville, yes that is the name of our town. "We" are actually just me and my dogs and four cats. Simon, Molly, Cuddy, Myron, Mickey and KC (Kitty Cat). And our good friend John helps keep the equipment running smoothly.

The idea for Mo's Memorials began when I was reading about the tainted pet food and so many pets dying from eating it. My dogs were on a special diet for their skin problems at the time so they were not affected, thankfully. But many were and I started clicking on links to memorial sites and then I was seeing memorial stones and markers. I thought they were beautiful and wondered how they made them. More research!! This got me started looking at sandblasting techniques and the next thing I knew, I had a sandblaster sitting in my garage.

It took awhile to learn how to use it and have my stuff look 'pretty good'. There was a lot more to it than I thought. But I have it down now. I have even been doing glass and it looks really nice. I put my initial on a set of glasses and was quite pleased with it. I also frosted a set of toasting glasses for a wedding couple with their names and the date of their wedding frosted on the glass. Very nice looking.

My next step was getting a plotter so I could make my own stencils and quit bugging the sign guy although he never complained. I got a cheaper model but it is working for me so far. Then, since I had the plotter I decided to make vinyl stencils for car windows or house windows or even metal signs. The back window of my truck is covered with vinyl graffitti and art work. Some are inside and some are outside. I want to see how they weather through the winter here in Ohio. The sign vinyl is supposed to be good for 5-7 years so it better make it through the 1st winter! And now it has been 4 years and they are still there. I scraped ice and snow off them for 3 winters now.

So if I can make you a pet memorial, well that would just be great. My prices are way below others on the Internet but not because I don't do as good as they do. It's just that I would like all pets to be honored and remembered. A stone in your flower bed or out by a water pond is one way to do just that.

Thank you for visiting my site and we hope to hear from you soon. And I don't mean that in a bad way. Please take a look through my galleries.

We now have rocks displayed in nine states: Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, Florida, Colorado. Arizona, California and Missouri.
